Discover the Incredible Benefits of Bioclear

Hello, I’m Dr. Lino Suarez, DMD and for over 30 years I have had the privilege of providing General, Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry services for my patients to achieve their highest level of health desired while enhancing the natural appearance of their smiles. I’d like to share information about a remarkable dental treatment that’s available to you at my Coral Gables, Florida office called Bioclear.

Bioclear is truly a revolutionary technique, recognized for its ability to deliver minimally invasive restorations without the need for extensive structural alterations. Patients suffering from chipped, cracked, or broken teeth, tooth cavities, or gingival embrasures, otherwise known as “black triangles,” are excellent candidates for this treatment as it not only produces a beautiful, natural-looking smile but also restores your dental health without the need for invasive, costly procedures.

Why I offer the Bioclear Method

I am focused on health-centered dental wellness and longevity at my dental practice providing minimally invasive dentistry. I have always been passionate about Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry and the amazing transformations that are possible when applying advanced training in multiple techniques and disciplines. Through the course of my dental career, I have had the privilege to undergo training with the top educators in Dentistry such as the Pankey Institute, and The Schuster Center Business School for Dentists, and I became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. A General Dentist who is a “Fellow” in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) has been recognized by other General Dentists as a leader and exemplifies to other Dentists the importance of quality continuing dental education.  I am honored to be only 1 of 7% of AGD Dentists who achieved this honor.

I am especially focused on Minimally Invasive Biomimetic Dentistry because it is  much less invasive than traditional dentistry and allows for better preservation of your natural teeth. Patients who opt for this treatment method are also at reduced risk for needing endodontic therapy, crowns, and potential extraction in the future. Not only are the dental health benefits significant, but it is also a less costly treatment option.

I’m a life-long learner and I have always been driven. I made it a priority to seek more advanced training which led me to becoming a Bioclear Certified Dentist for Core Anterior and Core Posterior to continue on the forefront of minimally invasive dentistry. I’m the only Bioclear Certified Dentist in Coral Gables, Florida.

Over the years, I have treated patients afflicted by a variety of oral health issues ranging from minor and cosmetic to severe using this minimally invasive, affordable treatment and I confidently can tell you that the results have been remarkable. I have witnessed first-hand the amazing smile transformations that have been made possible for my patients utilizing the Bioclear method.

Bioclear Vs. Traditional Dentistry

Often, traditional methods of Dentistry such as dental bonding, fillings, and veneers require considerable tooth modification and reshaping, resulting in the removal of natural tissue. Depending on the situation, this can be problematic for several reasons. For one, it results in further destruction of the very elements we are trying to restore. This makes the tooth weaker and increases the risk of restoration failure.

Additionally, invasive methods also pose a high risk for nerve damage. The more the tooth is ground down and chipped away, the more the risk increases. If nerve death occurs within the tooth, the patient will likely have to undergo a more costly and intensely invasive procedure such as root canal treatment or extraction.

Bioclear, on the other hand, is a conservative, biocompatible alternative that allows for the preservation of the enamel and healthy tooth material, resulting in a more natural aesthetic and lasting results. Bioclear restorations are much more cost-effective and durable, with a lifetime of up to 20 years or longer.

Bioclear Restoration Process

Bioclear is a minimally invasive treatment that is tailored to your unique needs and level of health. First, you will undergo a comprehensive oral exam so that I can inspect your teeth and gums. This allows me to identify the biological factors that are affecting your health and create a plan for improving the shape, functionality, and aesthetic appearance of your teeth.

Next, I’ll work to restore your teeth using the Bioclear method. First, I’ll clean the surfaces of your teeth to remove any biofilm that may be present. Biocompatible etching may also be used to open the pores of your teeth so that the restorations can bond correctly to the surface. Afterward, I’ll apply a set of custom matrices to your teeth, fitting them just below the gum line.

The custom matrices are then filled with a biocompatible composite material that precisely matches the shade of your natural teeth. The frames act like a mold for shaping your tooth while the composite material fills in any cracks or gaps. This process strengthens your tooth and restores its natural anatomy.

Light is used to cure the composite and make it incredibly durable and resilient to staining, cracking, and future damage. Next, I’ll remove the frames and work to further refine and sculpt your teeth to give you a beautiful custom smile that you genuinely love.

This entire process can be completed within a few hours, eliminating the need for subsequent appointments. It is a convenient, comfortable process that produces incredible smile transformations.Dental Problems that Can Be Treated with BioclearI highly recommend Bioclear to anyone who is looking for a minimally invasive, low-cost alternative to dental veneers, crowns, or fillings. Bioclear can be used to treat a variety of cosmetic and health-related dental concerns including:

Black Triangles

Other dental health concerns that can be treated with Bioclear include Diastema (spaces between your teeth) and Gingival Embrasures, otherwise known as “black triangles.” Gingival Embrasures affect approximately 67% of individuals over the age of 20 and become progressively worse if left untreated. Bioclear can be used to fill the gaps between your teeth and prevent the progression of dental disease.

Chipped, Cracked, or Misshapen Teeth

Bioclear can be used to restore teeth that have been damaged by dental trauma, teeth grinding, or decay. Unlike crowns and veneers that require extensive structural changes, Bioclear keeps your healthy tooth structure intact. It’s an ideal solution for repairing cracked, chipped, misshapen, and small teeth.

Discolored Teeth

If you have teeth that are stained or discolored, Bioclear can be used to correct the color of your teeth and give you a white, healthy-looking smile.

Tooth CavitiesBioclear is an excellent holistic alternative to traditional dental fillings for treating tooth cavities. Dental fillings unnecessarily put patients at increased risk of nerve damage which can lead to costly extractions or root canal treatment.

Advantages of Bioclear for Coral Gables Patients

Bioclear is suitable for a wide range of patients, including those looking to improve the cosmetic appearance of their teeth or address specific dental issues such as decay or damage. It’s a versatile treatment that can be tailored to meet the individual needs and goals of each patient. Some of the many advantages of the Bioclear method include:

  • Minimally Invasive: Bioclear requires less removal of the natural tooth structure compared to traditional veneers or crowns, preserving more of your tooth's structural integrity.
  • Aesthetically Pleasing: Bioclear creates a tight seal around your teeth, securing the papilla, or gum tissue between your teeth and closing the space between one tooth and the next. This method allows for the creation of smooth, contoured surfaces that blend seamlessly with your natural teeth, enhancing the overall appearance of your smile.
  • Versatility: It can be used to address a wide range of dental issues, including closing gaps between teeth, repairing chips, eliminating black triangles at the gum line, and improving the shape and contour of your teeth.
  • Durability and Longevity: The composite material used in the Bioclear method is durable and resistant to wear, offering a long-lasting solution that can endure the demands of daily use.
  • Improved Oral Health: By closing gaps and eliminating black triangles, Bioclear can help reduce the accumulation of plaque and food particles, decreasing the risk of gum disease and tooth decay
  • Cost-Effective: In many cases, Bioclear can be more cost-effective than traditional crowns or veneers because it requires fewer dental visits and less extensive preparatory work.
  • Quick Procedure: The treatment can often be completed in a single dental visit, making it a time-efficient and convenient option for improving the appearance of your teeth.
